Put on your favorite walking shoes and discover the rich history of Dallas with this fun mobile app featuring a self-guided tour through downtown Dallas. The Pegasus Urban Trails mobile app, think of the famous flying red horse that sits high upon the 1922 Magnolia building, takes you through unique areas of downtown Dallas. See the Arts District, West End Historic District, Main Street District, Thanksgiving Commercial Center, Farmers Market, Deep Ellum, Reunion District and Civic Center.
You’ll see some of Dallas’ most iconic buildings and sites including Dealey Plaza, Dallas City Hall, Reunion Tower, Statler Hilton – currently being renovated into apartments, hotel rooms and retail, Old Red, Dallas Musuem of Art, Neiman Marcus, Pioneer Park and so much more. The maps will show you photographs of the buildings and share interesting facts about the places on the tour. Did you know Dallas City Hall was featured in the movie Robocop (1987) or that the Adolphus Hotel was built by Adolphus Bush, founder of Anheuser-Bush?
