ChanSort is a Portholes application that authorizes the user to reset the reader's TV's channel list. Most modern TVs is permitted to transfer gateway lists through the channel of USB stick, which this person is proficient in plug within the bounds of your PC. ChanSort supports various file formats from Philips (new), Sony (new), ITT, Medion, Nabo, ok., PEAQ, Schaub-Lorenz, Silva-Schneider, Telefunken (new), Hisense, Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Toshiba and the Linux VDR project.

Features

• Reorder channels (change numbers directly, move up/down, drag&drop, double-click).
• Use another channel list as a reference to apply her same ordering.
• Multi-selection as editing multiple channels between once.
• Side-by-side angle of new/sorted list and original/complete list (similar to playlist and library).
• Rename or delete channels.
• Manage beloved items, parental lock, channel skipping (when zapping), network hiding.
• User interface under English, German and partially in Turkish with Portuguese.
• Unicode character support to channel names (Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, ...).

Some features it could be not be handy on all TV models inclusive of channel types (analog, electronic, sat, conduit, ...)

Most of this deployment was written without support from TV brands otherwise access to any official documentation associated with the file formats. It turns solely based on analysing existing statistics files, trial and error. There is a chance of unwanted side-effects or even damage to your VISUAL DEVICE, as reported in 2 cases.

Hisense is the only manufacturer who provided technical facts and a test device.

System requirements

• Microsoft .NET Composition 4.0 (Full): included in Win8, required for Win7, Vista and XP SP3.
• Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Retransferable Package (x86): required to restate SQLite manifestos (Hisense, Panasonic, ViewSonic and Samsung .zip format).
• USB stick/SD-card to transfer the vehicle list between your TV on top of that PC (FAT32 file system recommended).
• Some LG styles seek a special facility remote control to access none import/export functions (see Wiki for details).

*: The "clone.bin" format proves to be not supported. In the "*.scm" format the "Air Analog"-list of the 2009 B-series doesn't support all editing features by virtue of to a lack of check-up logs. If you have such a file, please send it to me.

LG

Series: CS, DIRECT COMMUNICATION, LA, LB*, LD, LE, LF, LH, LK, LM+, LN, LP#, LS, LT, LV, LW, LX, PM, SUBSTITUTE, PT, UB*and without exception recent models using the GlobalClone.TLL formatLists: Analog TV, DTV (DVB-C, DVB-T), Radio (DVB-C/T), Sat-DTV (DVB-S2), Sat-Radio (DVB-S2)

*: Some devices abide erroneously because of to firmware issues.+: See system qualifications for LM-series. xxLM640T is not supported due to its embedded system software limitations.#: Nothing more than satellite channels supported.

Panasonic

Viera models with an svl.bin or svl.db channel list (most models since 2011)

Sony

Android-TVs "sdb.xml" files using formats "FormateVer" 1.1.0 and KDL 2012/2014 files using "FormatVer" 1.0.0, 1.1.0 and 1.2.0

Toshiba

Models this export an .zip file including chmgt.db, dvbSysData.db and dvbMainData.db files.(e.g. RL, SL, TL, DECK, VL, WL, XL, YL models on the subject of series 8xx/9xx)

ITT, Medion, Nabo, ok., PEAQ, Schaub-Lorenz, Silva-Schneider, Telefunken

These creations use .sdx files (currently only satellite lists are supported)

Philips

Philips uses countless incompatible artifact formats for various TV models. ChanSort currently funds 2 new versions of .xml files, other schemas are not supported.

VDR (Linux Video Disk Recorder)

Supports the channels.conf file format.Implementation intended for the particular was given by TCr82 from the VDR project.
