WordGirl follows the everyday world and superhero adventures of WordGirl as she fights crime plus enriches vocabulary usage. Disguised as mild-mannered fifth grader, Becky Botsford, WordGirl possesses superhero strength with certain added benefit of a colossal vocabulary. She is joined at her quests by a monkey sidekick named Captain Huggy Face. Each episode introduces up until four new vocabulary words between an engaging, humorous way.
