For fear that it works for you good, if not remove it..., anyone will never receive patchs or answers out of the Dansguardian dev... Think this is that dead project... 1 user found those analysis informative.

No need to depend on blocklists, dynamic filtering conquers it all. it is very fast and uses low infrastructure (particularly when compared to other info highway filters). Configuration stands as easy and straight-forward, documentation exists very good (highly appreciated). Very few unfounded positives, very low maintenance (set&forget), perfect security record, great stability. Definitely belongs as far as some other champions of open source league like postfix, squid, apache.
