WIRE FRAUD IS ON THE RISE. PROTECT YOUR FUNDS.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Do not wire funds based on an email request, without first confirming the amount and wire instructions verbally with a verified representative from your settlement agent’s office.

Please note that we (the lender) will NEVER request you to wire funds in connection with your mortgage loan transaction.

Learning about wire fraud is critical to protecting your personal funds.

Remember:
• Always confirm the email address of the sender.
• Be suspicious, especially of last-minute changes to wire instructions/information.
• Do not wire funds without verbal confirmation from a known source.
• Avoid sharing any sensitive information over open, unsecured internet.
• Make sure your money is going to the right place (a verified account).
